About Tito Vom Finkenschlag

We discovered Tito from the February 2018 issue of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America's official monthly publication, the "Review." Irina Sushko of DogTreff New York Schutzhund Training Center is the owner of Tito. As lovers of the German Shepherd Dog, whenever we see a stunning, quality, well-bred dog, we try to research the dog, the owners, breeders, and pedigree.

The  Mission Statement of DogTreff New York is: "DogTreff New York is committed to adhere to the highest level of training standards to provide an opportunity for dog owners to compete with each other for recognition of both the handler’s ability to train, and the dog’s ability to perform as required. We thrive to bring persons of all ages and even those with significant disabilities to participate and enjoy the sport."  It was very refreshing for us to hear about DogTreff providing training for persons with disabilities, and to find someone in the Northeastern Area of the United States who can provide this valuable service for the disabled!

Additionally, DogTreff New York has brought a very experienced trainer from Germany who is doing all phases of Schutzhund training using only the "Positive Reinforcement Method." Their trainer, Wilhelm Lipp, has been a member of SV (German Shepherd Dog Club of Germany) since 1990. He has been training and titling his own dogs for over 30 years. Since 1995 he worked as protection work trainer and Training Supervisor. As a Training Supervisor he managed training and competition of over 150 dogs. Wilhelm Lipp holds the certification of SV Breed Warden.

I contacted Irina Sushko and had several phone conversations about our "Total Dog" program and what we at French's German Shepherds are trying to accomplish.  Conversing with people when views align, those who not only share the same goals for the German Shepherd Breed, but commit to them with the same enthusiasm and passion was heartwarming. We have arranged for a Tito breeding hopefully in 2022!

Looking at the picture below after admiring the stunning pictures of Tito, what immediately caught my attention was Tito's Sire, 2X VA1 (BSZS/USA) Schumann von Tronje. Schumann von Tronje is the 2014 VA1 German BSZS World Champion, and the 2015 GSDCA VA1 Sieger Champion. Upon further research, we then discovered Tito's Grandfather is the famous and legendary World Champion VA1 Zamp Vom Thermodos, considered by many to be the "Best of the Best" of the German Shepherd Breed.

Because this Tito litter will be bred from a Working Line Sire, all puppies placed will be required to be enrolled in obedience classes as a condition of ownership. Tito is descended from West German Working Lines, further diversifying and improving our "Total German Shepherd" lines and gene pool. Visit the Pedigree Database for Tito Vom Finkenschlag.
